English Rose Veal

Our veal animals are sourced from local dairy farms and reared on farm here at Fossil in small groups, in light & airy, spacious conditions.

The resulting product is delicately flavoured and has a rosy pink hue.

English welfare-friendly veal is highly fashionable and is remarkably tender and lean, which appeals to even the busiest of consumers, who after a taxing day at work are looking for a healthy meat that cooks extremely quickly.

Our rose veal has great versatility in its culinary uses and is showcased by many prestigious restaurants and hotels within Dorset and throughout the south.

We supply a few select farm shops and butchers – if you’d like to know where you can buy our rose veal please email for details. With a weeks notice, we can tailor selected cuts to a budget which can be collected, or posted at an additional cost, for next day delivery. We’re happy to provide recipes if you wish – minimal cooking over a medium heat is the best guide and rest the meat before serving.
